ALOO TIKKI AND SEM

ALOO TIKKI:-

It is another appetizing dish made from potato i.e,Aloo Tikki.

It can be served with bhaang ki chatni and with other sauces as well.

Ingredients:

- Boiled Potatoes

-Spices namely, salt, turmeric powder, red chilly powder, roasted cumin powder, chaat masala, green chilly, and coriander leaves

- Besan( gram flour)

- Oil

- Water


ALOO TIKKI AND SEM

Recipe:

1) Boil the potatoes first of all. Then crush the boiled potatoes and start adding salt, red chilly powder, turmeric powder, roasted cumin powder, chaat masala, green chilly, and coriander leaves and mix them all correctly.

2) Side by side in a bowl put salt and gram flour(besan) and put water in that and prepare slurry.

3) Let the oil be heated in a cauldron now. As soon as the oil is boiled put the potato mixture(after shaping them round like tikki and also diiping them in the besan ghol {slurry}) in the oiled cauldron.

Wait till their colour turns relatively brown than yellow earlier and take them out when that happens. Your aloo tikki dish is ready to be eaten and can be served with bhaang ki chatni or any other sauce.


MAIDA SEM:-

Maida Sem is just like a namkeen which is made up of maida and other ingredients. The good thing about sem is, they last long means thay ain't perishable and may last 2-3 days or a couple of weeks as well if properly and precisely made.


Ingredients:

- Maida flour

- Refined oil

- Salt

- Fennel

- Water

Recipe:

1) Put some refined oil, fennel and salt in maida flour and mix a little and then add some water it it and knead it.

2) After kneading the flour, break that into pieces and roll them just like chapatis and thereafter slice the chapati.

3) Put those slices into the boiled oil in a cauldron and wait for them to change their color to light brown. Your maida sem is ready to be served.
