SAYAA

This brownish bubbles like looking dish is called as Sayya(in pahari language), in Uttarakhand. It is made up of rice flour and looks beautiful, when cooked. It is sweet in taste and very esay to make. Tastes good when eaten with milk, whey, curd, etc. in the morning as breakfast and you can also enjoy it as snacks.


SAYAA

Ingredients:

- Rice flour

- Ghee

- Sugar

- Water or milk


Recipe:

1) First of all, knead the rice flour with water or milk.

2) Tip 4-5 spoon ghee in a cauldron and as soon as the ghee is heated, put the kneaded rice flour into it.

3) Now with a frying spoon break the kneaded rice flour chunk into small pieces.

4) When you break the whole chunk into small pieces, mix the sugar into that.

5) Cook it nicely until its color changes to light brown. Take the cauldron off the flame when it's done. The delicious sayaa is ready to be served. Enjoy!
