PAHADI CUCUMBER RAITA

Cucumber Raita is a dish made in different regions of India but recipes and making methods vary. In Uttarakhand it tastes totally different from anywhere else. It is generally made when there is any festival or special event (like when guests come at home).

It is a mouth watering dish and can be served with chapatis, rice or can be eaten solely as well.


PAHADI CUCUMBER RAITA

Ingredients:

- Cucumber

- Curd or Yogurt

- Spices- salt, turmeric powder, red chilly powder, garam masala, green chilly, and coriander leaves.



Its Recipe:

1) First of all, wash and peel the cucumber ( peeling depends on you, if you don't peel it's alright). Grate those cucumbers in grater and separate the water which comes after grating.

2) Put that stuff in a big bowl or sauce pan now.

3) Then one by one put some spices namely salt,turmeric powder, red chilly powder, garam masala, green chilly, and coriander leaves and make a mashup. Your mouth watering cucumber raita is ready to be served.
