Kudo Ko Roti

 This is a Nepalese origin pancake made with finger millet flour called kodo, you can also enjoy i t if you ever visit Sikkim. It is usually served with tomato chutney. You will need to use ingredients like 1/2 Cup Ragi Flour, half cup of lukewarm water, sugar, and ghee.


At first, you have to mix the Ragi Flour and sugar mixture with lukewarm water and form a thick batter. Heat a tava and sprinkle a few drops of ghee on it. Use a ladle to drop batter in idle and spread it to form around roti. Ensure the roti is fried on both sides and is crispy.



Ingredients: Finger millet flour – 3 cups Ghee – 2 tbsp Sugar – 1 tbsp

Method: 1. Mix the finger millet flour thoroughly with sugar and knead with 1 cup of lukewarm water to make a thick dough. 2. Heat ghee in a frying pan and spread one tbsp of dough in it. 3. Fry on medium heat till light brown and remove. 4. Repeat with the remaining mixture. 5. Serve with pickles.
