Moong Dal & Oats Khichdi

Khichdi is India’s ultimate comfort food, it is relished by kids as well as adults alike. This Khichdi recipe has a special healthy twist to it. There are various versions of Khichdi recipes that are made in every household, but this is hands down, one the healthiest of them all.

Oats khichdi recipe - healthy, nutritious and quick to make khichdi recipe made from oats, yellow moong dal and mix of veggies, basic spices
Ingredients:
1. Olive oil
2. ¼ cup moong dal
2. ¼cup moong dal
4.½ tsp cumin seeds
5.½ tsp ginger paste
6.2 tbsp onion
4. ½ tsp cumin seeds te
8. ½ cup mix vegetables
9. 1 green chilli
10. Salt to taste
11. 1/8 tsp turmeric powder
12. Pinch of asafetida
13. ½ cup steel cut oats
Procedure:
1. Soak moong dal in water and keep aside for half an hour.
2. In a pan, heat oil.
3. Add cumin seeds, ginger, onion, tomato, mix vegetable, green chilli, salt, turmeric powder, asafetida and cook for a few minutes. 4. Add moong dal, oats and water.
5. Cook until the oats are cooked well.
